Growth plate issues are common at that age also. Had 2 kids from sons team have similar issue and both were growth plate and had to shut down for a few moths. One of the boys recovered fully and is now progressing really good, sitting at 90mph (2016). Sounds like you are seeing the right people, good luck and hope all turns out for the good.
