Sports Scene, which is a local sporting goods store on Northwest Highway in Palatine selling primarily baseball equipment, has been collecting used equipment and sending it to the servicemen in Iraq. Bats,
balls, footballs etc...for recreational use. There was an article in the local paper a couple of weeks ago.
