yes "potentially".
The 2016 team could use some depth on the mound and could add as many as 3 pitchers. We also could add 2 OF, and 1 MIF, 1 C, if there was an elite player interested. Also, the reality is that one kid might serve multiple rolls in this matrix. what we actually need to do is replace Nick Butts - who is a RHP, OF, MIF and 3 hole hitter. That could "potentially" take 1, 2, 3 or even 4 players to replace his level of contribution.
The 2017 team needs a thumper and a couple power arms. The 2018 team needs some depth on the mound and possibly an INF if we decide to move up 2 of the players on that team.
So I say "potentially".... because, If there is no upgrade available then we will roll on with the kids who have already proved themselves worthy and rosters will just lack some depth.
WE ARE NOT LOOKING TO REPLACE OUR PLAYERS. We have room to add depth to already excellent rosters.
