I am glad your kid is seeking your advice with this. My kid will only probe me to save it as a punchline or a retort to one my sardonic comments. Anyway to play on this fanatasy, I would tell my kid to go with something mellow because the pressure in the box will already spike you with adrenaline and being amped up messes with the fluidity of the swing and timing.
