I did use Iron Out on white pants with maroon piping. I also used it on light grey uni with good results. Another tidbit, I never dried the uni in the dryer but air dried it.

Because of the experience M-I-L had with maroon practice jerseys, I would definitely use caution with any color other than white. Good luck!
