Reply to "'Weird Jersey thing': Bridge Year"

Bridge Year students will study at a New Jersey community college. Considered non-degree students, each is eligible to take a maximum of nine credits in the fall semester, and six in the spring. All New Jersey public institutions are required to accept those credits.

"It's flexibility. There's no harm," said Sen. Paul Sarlo, D-Bergen, who originally crafted the legislation.
