Don't get why the 1B is trying to touch the runner on a force play. Bad idea. If the runner had time to put his hands up, seems that the 1b had time to tap the bag and move.

Can't imagine calling the cops on that one. Whatever happened to plunking the runner with a nice, soft curve ball the next time he comes up to bat, then calling it even?
