Season starts on Monday. We will have tryouts in both baseball and softball and just might have record numbers trying out for both. We are to be in the mid 50s but have had right at 5 inches of rain this week. It just stopped raining in our area. Good luck to everyone with tryouts. As a coach, I hate it. I find it hard to tell a young person that they can't play and yet, I understand why it has to be done. In softball, we only have 22 uniforms for both teams and so will have to cut some players that can play. I've never understood why softball only gets 22 uniforms.
