Econ is an easier major to make a class schedule towards a degree than Accounting, Finance or Marketing. There are always junior-senior courses that can be selected around baseball practice and there are fewer courses required (Intro Micro/Macro, Statistics, Calculus, Inter Micro/Macro) than there are for an undergraduate business program.
