What words of encouragement would YOU give?

A short time ago I exchanged PMs with a fellow webster in order to receive a snail-mail address to send one of my son's cards to. The other webster asked if my son would sign the card with some words of encouragement to his HS senior(05) son who has already signed to play college ball.

I left the request on my desk for my son who was going to be dropping by the house while I was at work. My son's words of encouragement were(and not surprisingly, since he was a 20th round draft selection):

"NEVER give up!"

I am wondering what one short bit(that would fit on a baseball card) of advice others may provide to a younger ballplayer as he prepares to enter the next level?
