Great White,

I agree with BobbleheadDoll. Continue to have as strong a season as possible, especially if this is your second year at the JC. Our son went to a JC and there was an offer on the table at the early signing period from the D1 school, but we waited for the second signing period because of other D1's that were also looking at him. This can be good and bad. Good if you have a good year and the school(s) hasn't looked elsewhere and filled the slot with someone else during the first period. It can also be bad if they lose interest in you for low numbers, as an example. Or, as stated, they signed someone else.

If there are offers, consider where you fit in their program and if their roster needs to fill a vacancy with your skills. Still waiting for an offer, showcases are an option so the recruiters can see you. Hopefully they will have already been to some of your games and seen you play. If you can send the recruiters from the schools you are interested in attending your schedule, then they can possibly fit some time in to see you on the field. They also tend to contact your JC coach for more info on you before contacting you. This was the case with our son for the most part.

I couldn't tell you if they sign more JC players in the second signing period then the first, but it shows that you've played at a higher level and can be called upon when its time.
