Hey Joe, I am in a very similar situation of your own. I am a sophomore, but unlike your coaches mine haven't helped me much(or better yet haven't admitted they have helped me much so I am not sure if they have or not). There are many ways to do the recruiting process by yourself. Get on websites similar to HSBBW. Others are Checkswing.com, berecruited.com, takkle.com, just to name a few that I am a member of. On checkswing, you can communicate with more former or current MLB or MILB players than on HSBWW(sorry guys, not trying to insult anyone at all or the knowledge you guys have here.) A few college coaches are also on checkswing and are more than happy to help. Some of the similarities the 2 sites have, many players can post videos and get many responses. berecruited.com has many coaches and is a pretty helpful website. I have gotten some e-mails from D1 coaches from that site. You can get a free account or "Pro" type account which cost money. I have a free account and still have interest from some schools. Takkle.com is useful for really one thing honestly when it comes to recruiting. The association with NCSA really helps, but the RecruitMe Sheet is great. my link is at the bottom to check out the format of it.
When your trying to do the videos on youtube, try and get as many videos that are good as possible. If you get multiples, use this website to throw them all together. http://embedr.com
Like someone mentioned above, fill out recruitment sheets, they work well. I've gotten a few e-mails back by just filling out a recruitment form. Go to showcases to get some exposure from colleges.
And last but not least, when you are talking on here use good literature not only for the adults, but college coaches are on here. Remember that.
