We've had more success with just giving our pitcher the encouragement to make the decision to throw to 3rd and leave the 3rd baseman back. Coach May pointed out the challenges with the wheel... A good fielding pitcher can get you AN out, which, without knowing where the ball is going is about all you can ask for.
