I guess, in my opinion, that none of the games really "count" until Varsity. That is if what we mean by "count" is that they help set up playoff qualification and ranking. Many, if not most schools in the Puget Sound conferences are playing a few non-conference games before getting into their league games,so that might be what you're hearing about.

Our freshmen play about half their games non-conference because not evey school in the conference runs a 3rd team. And that's fun as we get to travel all over the place! So far, Skyline HS, then Ballard. Tonight: Bothell. Saturday: Inglemoor. And so on!
