Let’s do some simple math. Assume that 1800 is an accurate count. Assume that there are 40 players on a roster. Based on those assumptions there are enough players in the portal to field 45 teams. Forty five teams! 45! That’s enough teams to form 4 CONFERENCES. There is no place for all these kids to go. It’s only going to work out for the very best players and/or a prearranged deal. All the others will have to force their way in somewhere and good luck with that.
