Reply to "When to report a coach?"

quote:
When I coached I had a parent report me to the AD and president of the college.

This made me chuckle. I once was "reported" too...as a youth league coach...reported to the Board of the league...I was the President of the league. Smile

What was my indiscretion? I had a batter called out on the other team, in the playoffs, for batting out of order. Big Grin Actually, I probably wouldn't have done it even then, except the other team's coaches accused me of having my 10-year old batters get hit on purpose before the game and again during the game. Eek

In all seriousness Lefty. We always took complaints about coaches seriously in our league. It usually resulted in a "conversation" with the coach if we could substantiate it. At this point thats all you should expect. Then move on. The pileup of these events doesn't usually end with one incident. He'll be gone soon enough if it becomes a habit.
