My niece's softball team is playing better than any team in her Little League has, in my observation, ever played at that age level -- including the All Star teams.

The coach is now under siege with letters to the LL's board from parents who feel he is "pushing too hard", that he does horrible things like tell runners to advance all the way home on overthrows in play, etc.

By the way, this guy never loses his cool, never berates anyone, never uses profanity or even raises his voice.

I realize girls are a different species, but what the heck is going on? Are we in the Harrison Bergeron League now?
