It was a fall day many years ago in El Paso, Texas when a group of US Army "All Stars" played against the "greatest" team in the history of baseball. "Willie Mays" barnstorming team include Aaron, Banks, Campanella, Brooks Lawrence, Hank Thompson, Monte Irvin and many other MLB All Stars.

My front row seat was at First base. Final score 6-2.

The Willie Mays team started in New York after the World Series and ended in LA. They won all 28 games. A photo appears in Henry's book "I Had a Hammer"
