My son has not been able to participate in any Dec./Jan. select tryouts because he is coming off of shoulder surgery. He is just now starting to hit again and will soon begin throwing again. I'm sure his options this spring will be limited as far as local (DFW) select programs go. Then again, if he puts up good HS numbers, opportunities tend to present themselves. He will likely spend the summer playing ball in Burkburnett (www.blacksox.org) like he and his brother did last summer.
