worried about politacle reasoning

Im in 8th grade and we can't play HS till 9th. My 6A Varsity coach played pro ball with my uncle so I'm not worried about proving myself. My problem is that I feel most comfortable at SS and the SS for the Varisty is the Super Indents son and the 6A coach got his job from his best friend which in the super Intendent. But the kid is a sophmore this year which means i wont get to start until my junior year. And all the coachs have told me that I'm a far better hitter and fielder but they want to still coach.haha. IF YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!
