Not sure if this was a public release or not, but a friend (son's pitching coach, former MLB pitcher) received a notice from the MLBPA basically stating Manfred's claim that they were in a stalemate was complete BS. They made it sound like they asked for immunity and Manfred immediately responded with a yes. No back and forth at all.
