Reply to "Yale player - Rhodes or MILB"

Well said Goosegg...."And, I'll use this opportunity to bang my drum about an Ivy offer: approximately 56 per year; the effects last for a lifetime; any player good enough to get an Ivy offer gives up NO baseball opportunities and gets a huge headstart on the real world."

As I've told Simon's Dad, I want him to be drafted a Red Sox.    I'm so looking forward to draft day.

I know his Dad is too modest to post, so I'll do it for him.  Simon drove in Yales game winning runs in Yales win game #1 and game #2 @ Penn...how about that for a leadoff hitter.   His game winning RBI in the second game was hit 200th hit as a Yale Bulldog.   There were a number of MLB scouts at the game watching Simon.   This is a special "kid" with special talents on the field and off of it.
