I completely agree with the first part of your statement, ARod is the best overall ballplayer in the game today and the deserving MVP.

But as far as classy, I would put him low on my list, the first base line slap in the 2004 ALCS and throwing a fit when Bronson Arroyo hit him with a CURVEBALL, all come to mind.

One of the classiest players in baseball plays ten yards to his left every game and sets the bar (IMO) for class.

As far as the whole choke in the playoffs thing, I'm going to withhold judgement because sometimes guys are just unlucky.
