The campus is well maintained and beautiful, my son remarked how everything looked brand new. The students we spoke to on campus really enjoy the school and I have heard nothing but great things about Coach Saikia he works his team hard and expects a lot.
Watching the game I saw players who appeared to be having fun, playing hard, playing together very good fundamental baseball with terrific communication and support between the players. I noticed they had 40 players on the roster with an enrollment of only about 4,000 students. Which is fine with us, no dreams of playing at the next level, baseball is only going to be a part of his college experience, and York seems like it fits all the criteria.
At first my wife was concerned about the surrounding area and crime but my older son goes to Rutgers in New Brunswick, and compared to there York is a paradise. At a recent Rutgers festival they had 4 shootings.
