College One Day Camps?

NorCalBBDad ·
I'm thinking about signing my son up for a few colleges' one day camps. They seem to be all over the board with how they are run, and I'd like to get an idea as to what to expect, specifically for pitchers. We recently did the San Jose State camp and it was a TOTAL disappointment. They didn't bother to hand out shirts or pinnies with numbers on them, although they had asked for the attendee's shirt size when we signed up. So if you showed up with just a plain black shirt, expecting they...

Some good new data on colleges and majors

Chico Escuela ·
The Dept. of Education recently published the most detailed data I have seen on earnings by major at each institution, as well as debt levels at graduation, etc. Links are below. This info ought to come with some caveats. For example, the salary numbers are for the first year after graduation, so I assume a lot of the Chemistry, Biology, etc. majors were in medical school. Graduates who were still in school weren't included in the "average" calculation, but it seems to me that most kids who...
