Hello, I will be graduating from my university this December with a BA in History and minor in Sport Marketing. I am curious to know: when applying for coaching jobs, what kind of schools should I target? HS/JuCo/4Year? I have student-assistant experience and have also played college baseball. Also, I am looking forward to attending a graduate school somewhere (online or in person), for a Master's Degree in Sport Management, Coaching, or Marketing. How should that factor into my decision for...

Where do you see yourself ideally coaching next year? High School? College? Travel Ball with an Academy type team? What position did you play in college? References from your college & high school coaches will help.

I truthfully feel I could coach at the college level but I highly doubt that I would receive any offers... But I am for sure going to apply to a few JuCos and 4years. My target will be high schools in the Houston and Austin areas. I played second base throughout college with literally a game or two in RF and First Base, along with DHing.

What is your long term goal?

Long term goal is to be within an affiliated professional organization in player development/coaching, if possible. I haven't played professional baseball so it will be very tough to break in to that level of work. I do know that a goal of mine since probably 14 years old is to coach somewhere with a Division I baseball program.
