Top 96 Baseball Camps
HS Baseball Web Community - Beginning this coming summer, Top 96 will run two-day, regionally-focused events in four locations across the country: Atlanta , Boston , Chicago , & Los Angeles . All Top 96 events will be run on college campuses in the host regions and are designed for student-athletes who want to attend and play baseball at a college or university in that region. The mission is simple: deliver the best-in-class regional college showcases in the country. You may be familiar...

Re: Top 96 Baseball Camps
I checked the site. There are no colleges listed for most locations. There is no pricing (at least without going several pages into enrollment). There are a bunch of links that go nowhere. There is no detail to the daily format. When do you plan on actually having the necessary information for someone to make a decision regarding your events?

Re: Top 96 Baseball Camps
Hi @cabbagedad - If you click on the session-specific link (like this one for Boston: https://www.top96.com/session/boston-session-1/ ) you can see the colleges that have confirmed so far, as well as the price down at the bottom of the page. We're going to have multiple sessions in each geography, but haven't launched those second sessions yet, which is why on the Locations pages (like this one for Boston: https://www.top96.com/location/boston/ ) those details aren't listed - if you click on...

Thx for the info. We’ll wait for more regions; $599 is a stretch for analysis and new program. Good Luck to your team

Re: Top 96 Baseball Camps
My son requested information and we got a nice voice mail and an email from Jed. My son needs to start thinking what colleges/ region of the country he will consider before we sign up for recruiting camps/showcases.

@Top 96 Baseball Have you considered paying for Advertising, to this site? This site is paid for by a very select few. And this looks like you are advertising your showcases.

Re: Top96
My son did a Top 96 camp in the sumer after his sophomore year of high school. Some schools that are represented will send a head coach or recruiting coordinator. Others will send the first year volunteer assistant. So, don't expect to see the head coach of a team you're interested in. He may be there or may not. They provided a written evaluation sheet of various things they measure - 60 time, arm speed, batted ball exit velocity. So, you work out on measurables, do a pro style workout and...

Re: Top96
In son's recruiting journey, we found Top96 showcases very helpful and cost efficient. Went to one summer after his sophomore year and another after his junior year. The showcases are very well run, and on time. Found the administration very good to deal with, especially as they flexed on NO change/refund policy. My son had a collision in CF during a night game prior to the showcase, injuring his hand. Top96 allowed us to go to another location later in summer with no change charges. Son was...

I notice a lot of these camps are going on concurrently with PG WWBA 15, 16, and 17u? Is this an issue with the type of college coach who goes to Top96 and for that matter the type of player that may go?

Re: Top96
I was concerned about coach overlaps and conflicts as well, but at least Top 96 lists the specific coach who will be attending the showcase (unlike some of them). That does not mean that other coaches on the staff will not be at other camps, PG events, showcases, etc. I think more than anything these events are for the schools to build their lists of possible recruits and then they narrow down from there and may make final decisions at their own camps. It is may be best viewed as an...
