Wanted to give a shout out to Cape Henry (Virginia Beach) grad, Robert Morey and the UVA Cavaliers! Morey tossed 6 shutout innings and struck out 9 as the Cavs defeated San Diego State and Mr. #1 draft pick & 103mph man Steven Strasburg... way to represent southside (and all) VA baseball! ... by the way, Strasburg was pretty darn good too as he pitched 7, allowing 8 hits, 2 ER, but struck out 15 (!) and walked none.
