West Chester camps
Anyone go to WCU camps, or have info on coaches? Being from Jersey I know they have recruited here. What kind of players coach Prachniak likes? Anything at all?

Lynn University
Anyone have info on them? Any info at all. I know about the school and education, but what about baseball? How/where they recruit, showcases they attend, how their camps are, and, above all, how to get their attention from all the way up in Jersey?...

Re: Lynn University
I don't know anything about Lynn directly, but one of my son's JUCO teammates is going there next year. They play in the Sunshine State Conference and are in the middle of the pack baseball-wise. The player that is going there is a big 1B/3B/P who hits with power. I don't know how they recruit, but I can tell you that one way to be seen by them is to play for a Florida JUCO. Here's the SSC baseball website http://www.sunshinestateconfer...sport.asp?sportID=18

Re: West Chester camps
Never met the coaches but West Chester has traditionally attracted tough, blue collar kids. Their recent success in baseball over the years probably attracts more talented players as well. The school has always been considered a good education major school, especially Phys. Ed. There are other schools that are more expensive with more rigorous academics but West Chester has always been a good option for blue collar kids. I think their team make-up reflects that as well. Hope this helps. Good...

Re: Alloy Bat Lifespan
Why do you only hit 50-100 balls per week? It should be more like 500-1,000.

Re: Alloy Bat Lifespan
My neighbor played Offensive Guard for IOWA and the eagles. When 12 years old his mother used to return the bats to the factory after he broke them!

Re: Alloy Bat Lifespan
It’s just a rough guess. Tbh I have no idea how many I hit. Now that I think about it, 50-100 is probably not correct. I get About 3 1/2 hours of BP a week.

Re: Alloy Bat Lifespan
If you are only hitting 50-100 balls per week you will out grow that bat before it ever wears out

Alloy Bat Lifespan
I recently got a Louisville slugger select pwr (Alloy) and I can’t find any info on how long I can expect it to last. How long do you think I can expect this bat to last while in optimal condition? And should I invest in a separate bat for practices? I hit around 100-250 balls per week with this bat.
