Jeez. Let's scrap the season and just hold the All-District meeting in the Nammmaaammmaaan cafeteria next week.

Pretty sure some of those "stud" arms lost games last year. And one was a stud in 4a. So who knows? Gonna be fun.

Those arms ??? Have had a year to grow....learn and have a Coach that knows his business. That 4a "stud" grew 2 inches and has his head on straight....he WILL contend.

Hey Ironhorse, either of the Rockwall schools will be glad to line up and play you if you think there is some great talent discrepancy between the two levels. Most the projected draft picks and a great deal of the area's D1 signees this year are from 4A schools.

oldbaldguy - who are the returning arms for Rowlett, and what new arms have they moved up?

Have to go with Naamanallin on this one. Hear Naaman is looking pretty good this year.

NaamanAllIn, The boys in the forest have to prove it first. Rowlett has led their district for a half dozen season or so. And yes, Naaman is stocked with Pitching and some good young talent, but until proven otherwise Rowlett still owns the title. Roll Tide!

Don't think proving it will be a problem. My money's on Naaman.

Rowlett has brett byrum back, colton kalmus, and bradly horn. if naaman thinks they can handle that with only 3 consistant hitters in their line up y'all are crazy.

First district game will be a good one.

After last night I'm pretty convinced - Look out Rowlett - Naaman will compete. BTW - NF has the mind set, the misson plan, and the man.

Ok, I'm going to bite. What happened last night to boost your confidence? And don't you think every high school team in the nation right now has the mind set, the mission plan and THE MAN. Now it's time to step between the white lines.

I am familiar with Kalmus and he is a great competitor and incredible pitcher. They also have Grant Bothun who has a great bat.

Watched a little batting practice the other night - much improved. Rumor has it Bothun not playing - going straight football. I hope every team has mind set, the mission plan and THE MAN...makes for some great baseball. Just very excited about all the changes Naaman has made to the program, the field and leadership.

Until proven otherwise Rowlett is the top dog in 10-5a. Not only have they won 5 straight district titles but have went 4 rounds deep 4 out of the last 5 years. On top of that namman has talked about beating Rowlett every year but never seem to do so. I understand new coach and different outlook but rowlett has the mindset every year with a coach willing to do whatever it takes to win. District opener is Marth 6th @ 4 @ Rowlett.

its the 6th because its on a tuesday. the 5th is a monday

Don't forget about McKinney Boyd. They are still in the mix this year.

Well Wylie opens against McKinney on Wednesday the 7th due to TAKS testing or something like that. Usually it would be a Tuesday. I am sure all district openers will be on Monday or Wednesday due to this.

Well the Big Dog, the mind set, the mission and the man had a slight set back tonight against the 4A Pirates at Copeland Field in Mesquite.

What was the score and who pitched for both sides?

They hit a bump in the road. Have an entire new infield, and only a handful of boys who even played Varsity last year. They will settle in. That is what the scrimmages are for.

Naaman is hosting a tourney the 23-25. Should show how they are looking.
