We will be moving from Oklahoma City, OK to Panama City Beach, FL in or around August and need a good AAA or Major team for my son to play with in the local area. He turned 12 on March 23. He has played competitive baseball here in OKC for a number of years.
His primary position is catcher with shortstop as his secondary. He also pitches. He takes weekly hitting and pitching lessons and regular catching lessons. He’s taken pitching/hitting lessons for about 3 years and has attended numerous yearly camps (Oklahoma Univ, Oklahoma City Univ, Univ. of Central Oklahoma) since he was 8.
He’s a solid pitcher. He has been professionally taught and throws a good fastball, circle change, cutter, and a good curve (thrown conservatively). His fastball tops out at 65’ish and is gunned every couple weeks to ensure consistency in hitting spots at max velocity.
He is a very good catcher and looking for a solid AAA or Major travel team to play with in August and in the future. He plays football, so fall ball is played on a limited basis.
