Registration is now OPEN for the 15th annual New England Catching Camp Summer Camp!
For the 14th straight year, we will once again be offering catchers around the world two different weeks of Summer Camp, July 20-23 and August 3-6, 2015 in Hudson, NH. Our 4-day, 16-hour camp is geared towards the specific development of catchers at all skill levels. Each year we host well over 100 catchers from all over the world, including 47 of the 50 states (Still looking for North Dakota, Montana and Hawaii), Australia, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Canada. Last year we hosted 150 catchers from 38 states, Canada, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico!
The camp will cover every aspect of the catching position including stances, receiving, blocking, throwing (proper high-level arm motion and mechanics on throws to the bases) and all fielding skills. Each catcher will be held to a standard that parallels their skill level. Coach Jay Weaver and his staff will have the ability to challenge the older catchers throughout the week with higher velocities (85+ MPH for the guys, 60+ MPH out of a windmill for the girls). NECC and our Summer Camp staff have been widely regarded as the best in the world at training catchers. We have worked with catchers from youth ages all of the way to the NCAA Div. 1 and MLB ranks. - 1pm-5pm Baseball and Softball catchers ages 13-18
- Cost per player: Early bird registration fee (before June 20th) is $250.00, $275 after June 19th.
