Guthrie, Guthrie, Guthrie,

The DPATS are playing everyday. Stout and Geer getting better and better with the wood. Your guys are on the rubber chicken circuit, going to grad parties, soaking it up in Mexico...

The only fishing in Farmington you will be doing will be as a spectator...or guest blogger...

Doubleday...Im feeling the DPATS...

Come out and play Guthrie...

While I love a little friendly banter, I am a reformed man. Linty has shown me the way back in the day.

I believe there are a number of teams who can challenge Guthrie, Stout or Geer.

Tommy and Sam will have at least some say as they always do.

Angel bunch will be competitive as well. They were pretty strong last season as well as young.

Frozen Ropes has a ton of arms from what I saw in our games.

FW Cats have Teakel (sp) and Blachawks have Underhill. Those guys can beat anyone on a given day.

Gonna be fun.
Perfect Game has Sam's DBAT Mustang team ranked amongst the top in the nation. The old man always finds a way and with Cade and Shayne holding the umbrella to help with the shadiness look for them to do it again.
Tommy's Tigers can always play but you never know what team will show up.
Geer's team was salty last summer and I'd expect the same this year. Of coarse, I'm sure the boss man could of taken the better players to round out his roster. Stout may be a contender but he's been coaching little leaguers for so long now that it might take him some time to catch up to speed. Speaking of time. On another note, Guthrie's DBAT Mustang group will be a non contender this summer. With all the superstars and that guys ego, it's a no doubt recipe for disaster. I predict Frozen Ropes to surprise some folks. With a TCL feel to their roster, maturity will be an advantage. Not familiar with the FW Cats. Have they been around a while?

Lets have some fun, get it going...305 days of Guthrie, he's got 60 to prove himself as the baseball genius.

Sorry...I've got a cold and was on the Nyquil last night and not thinking straight
PickJ- yeah that's neat how all the teams Perfect Game rank are only those that play in their events... kind of a vicious cycle... you play here and we will rank you nationally in our poll derived from a few overweight guys sitting around a desk counting their million$ from each weekend...

no doubt those teams are all quality, but to nationally rank them is a joke... ahhh but parents love it.... it's a match made in heaven; national rankings/madeup world series titles and parents...

Wow doubleday, 10 first rounders! That's aaaa-mazing!

Actually, I'd bet there's 2 sure fire first rounders on that team, and they're not eligible for this years draft.

Not a PG lover Deviled Egg? Perfect Game rankings aren't "perfect"...that's for sure, but it's the best available and I think they do a good job researching the teams, regardless of whether you play in their events. If you play or see one of their highly ranked teams play, you will most probably leave fairly impressed. Test the theory tomorrow night. Two of PGs top ranked 17U teams (Dallas Patriots (Stout) and Dallas Yankees) will be playing each other in a BBI DH scheduled for 6:00pm/8:00pm at The Colony.

Originally posted by Bronco Baseball:Carpenter's Mustangs started a little slow as the guys were making the transition from aluminum to wood, but they've won their last 5 in a row pretty easily. I'm still learning names, but there's a lot of good arms on this team.

They were pretty impressive yesterday with J. Hursh on the mound. They should go back to Farmington this year with no problem.

What makes you think Hursh will make the trip to Farmington? Could hear his name called out tonight from what I hear. If not tonight, for sure tomorrow.

Just filled in high schools for the ones I knew on the Patriots roster.
The matchup between two of the top nationally ranked 17U teams lived up to its billing last night as the Dallas Patriots 17 (Stout) split a double header with the Dallas Yankees.

Several scouts watched as the Yankees took the opener 2-1 in a pitcher's duel. The Patriots bounced back and won the second game 7-4.

Both teams appear to be very capable of making deep runs in any tourney in which they play this summer.
