2005 SAC All Conference Team

I would like to see someone do that for broward county players before the sun - sentinel does its annual popularity contest.

Austin chubb should be first team. He did better than english.

This is from the Orlando Sentinel. Don't take it too seriously. Notice how it's pretty evenly distributed among schools. Not a complaint, just an observation that this is what newspapers do - and probably should do. Plenty of time for hero worshipping and bashing at higher levels...

All - All star team selections are subjective.

However, just to clarify these selections were voted upon by the SAC coaches who actually saw the players play, not the Sentinel who is not present at 99% of HS games.

The Florida Sportswriter Association released its All State Team selections earlier this month. The list included many deserving and great players, most who were in the late rounds of the State tournament. However, the FSWA seriously damaged its credibility when it selected 12 players (4 bench players) from one team.

All everything teams / selection are nice honors and make for interesting conversations, however, all that really matters to most players is reaching their goals and the next level
