Baseball America's Jim Callis did a mock 2009 Draft recently.
He projects 2 players from the Trombly Baseball Academy to be among the 1st 5 picks in next year's draft!

5th-Tyler Matzek-LHP (Capo Valley HS)
Trombly Baseball has only been around for 6 years and to date there have been 45 players who have played in our program drafted. Of those 45 players, 4 have been selected in the 1st Round and 5 have been selected in the 2nd Round. The 2009 Draft will have numerous players from Trombly Baseball drafted now that there are several college JR's draft eligible to go along with our talented HS SR's.
Our program's success is due to the numerous talented players who have made the decision to play with us the past 6 years. I can't thank them enough for their contributions and wish them luck as long as they continue to play.
In addition to the quality players who have participated with us, we have also had some very good coaches as well. We have had former MLB players, current MLB players, MLB Coaches, Minor League Coaches, Minor League Players, College Coaches, HS Coaches, etc that have also had a Huge Impact on our success. Again, without these quality coaches our program would not be as successful.
