The Illinois Sparks will host the following series of events leading up to tryouts for 16U, 17U, and 18U players:
Sunday November 30th: Any players interested in playing for the Illinois Sparks in the summer of 2009 are invited to an open discussion regarding plans for the program next summer. The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. and take place in the infield of the Illinois Sparks facility. All Sparks players at the 14U levels and above for 2009 are requested to attend. Any prospective players should be 16U, 17, or 18U to attend. Please bring your own seating. The meeting should take approximately 1.5 hours.
Monday December 1st: The Illinois Sparks will host an open house workout for interested players from 16U to 18U during 2009 summer season. The workout time will be from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m..
Wednesday December 3rd: The Illinois Sparks will host an open house workout for interested players from 16U to 18U during the 2009 summer season. The workout time will be from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m..
Friday December 5th: The Illinois Sparks will host an open house workout for interested players from 16U to 18U during the 2009 summer season. the workout will be from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m..
Note: Attendance at the above events in encouraged, but not necessary for interested players. Players are welcome to attend as many events as they want and can leave at any time during the workout.
Sunday December 7th: Tryouts at the following times:
16U: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m..Please Fill Out The 16U Reg Form
17U: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m..Please Fill Out The 17U Reg Form
18U: 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m..Please Fill Out The 18U Reg Form
All returning players from the 2008 season must contact their coach from last season with their playing intentions for the summer 2009 season.
All of the above events will take place at the Bo Jackson Elite Sports Dome in Lockport, Illinois on the Illinois Sparks side.
