Just taking from the 2008 discussion.. Who impresses you from 2010? I'll throw out a few.

1) Matt Lipka: McKinney. Lot's of good tools, can do it all..

2) Ryan Ford : Plano West, Great bat speed, tons of pop.

3) Zach Lee: McKinney. Great fastball, awesome size.

All 3 could have a good future in Baseball..

Any thoughts?

East played McKinney last weekend -- I was impressed with Lipka but didn't get to see Lee pitch (he does have great size). I was impressed with Ford when East played West. Good times ahead for these kids.

I hear there's a pretty stout fish at Boyd, but shhhh, his dad posts here. Smile

Conner Zmolak has had an excellent season at East.
2010's are hard to recognize unless you know of them personally because there are some pretty good ones down on freshman and JV teams since the high school coaches all have a little different philosophy for playing Freshmen. Here's my list of D/FW guys, and I know I am probably leaving several guys out. I feel the following guys have a bright future on the diamond (though some are pretty good on the gridiron as well!)

Zak Adams---Flower Mound
Cameron Allerheiligen---Keller
Daryn Alves---McKinney Boyd
Drew Benefield---Rockwall Heath
Andrew Blum---Plano West
Drew Boehmer---Grapevine
Brode Boyd---FM Marcus
Matt Caffey---Grapevine
Tyler Cotton---Richland
AJ Florence---McKinney North
Ryan Ford---Plano West
Craig Hayes---South Garland
Shane Henderson---Flower Mound
Zach Lee---McKinney
Matt Lipka---McKinney
Ryan Merritt---Celina
Brandon Pierce---Gunter
Cody Polk---Richland
Brian Ragira---Arlington Martin
Joee Reyna---Cedar Hill

Kurt Karlstromer from Plano.. Dont know what HS he goes to but this kid is as tough as they come. I love the way he plays.

Ryan Merritt from Celina. Nice left handed pitcher. He can dominate when he's on.

John,
I would have to agree with both of those guys. I love watching Kurt play. He plays hard all the time. Great kid!
