The lack of activity in your forum leads me to believe that perhaps some of the members aren't hearing fellow members' requests for input?

And as for which school to keep an eye on this season? I'm going with this one. Why? Rig me up with a pair of those clamshells for my ears and I'll tell ya!

Tin Man...not many Indiana people using HSBW for some reason. I know there will be some good teams coming out of the Indianapolis area again. Cathedral, Lawrence Central, Noblesville, Penn, Jasper, Bloomington South, Terre Haute South ... there is no shortage of good teams coming out of the region, and others.

Thanks for the info Pastime. I live in the Franklin Central area and should be able to see LC and / or Bloominton South. Will have to check the schedule.

FC plays both those teams (away) could make it to the LC game, not to far to see some sound baseball.

Heard the LC team has a scrimmage tonight with their studs throwing in front of a dozen area pro scouts too. 92-94 from one kid and 96+ from the other kid from what one of the area scouts told me the other day. I may go and watch that.

I would say the Lawrence Central and Cathedral have to be the odds on favorite to win 4A. In northeastern Indiana watch out for the NHC this conference will be loaded with teams that are always tough Carrol,DeKalb, Homestead, New Haven, and Norwell. Also a 1A team I really like is Edinburgh. They have some spectacular talent for a 1A school.

Seriously...I know there's lots and lots of good baseball people in Indiana. I've been to a few baseball and softball tournaments over the years at a facility on New Augusta Rd. north of 71st St., near Crooked Creek Golf Course in Indianapolis. We always had a wonderful time.

And you know me...always willing to strike up a conversation. Always curious for sure, but never so much that it kills any cats. I know my limits, besides I love those furry little felines.

I've also met many, many good baseball and softball folks from Indiana as they have found enough courage to trek up towards Chicago. All good from my experience. Knowledgeable, down home types and well grounded, courteous, friendly, competent, and fielding good teams!

All, I mean all, of the softball teams at every age level from the Indy area and beyond know how to knock the snot out of the ball. Impressive. Their coaches are obviously doing something very right. They're to be admired.

Here in Illinois we kid with you Hoosiers, but that's all it is. My eyes have seen the results of what is being accomplished in the Hoosier State. Keep it going!

Excuse me please...I've got to go spot weld this nail back on!

I've been to the Midwest complex a bunch of times with softball. We have never played baseball there.

Maybe our paths have crossed TIN MAN. If you remember any loud, blustering, obnoxious, and bullying jerk of a dad from Illinois...that was not me!
