Coal City losing had way more to do with a pitcher that fought threw not having a good day to the point on his 117 pitch was still on the mound.I guess the 118th pitch for the second walk of the 7th wwith a 1 run lead was enough for someone to have a fleeting idea he was done.With a 1 run lead and a kid with over 100 pitches who was just hanging in either guy warming up in bullpen was a better option.
Not on this one.It took 26 pitches to get out of 6th.Kid was done then.
