First post here, I found this site a few months ago and have been very impressed with the vast amount of info here.
I'd like to do a bit of proud dad bragging here.
My 2022 (13yrs old) son played in his first PG 14u tournament at LP recently. It was a fantastic weekend for him both offensively and defensively. He didn't have his best outing on the mound, that's ok though. His team won the tournament (40 teams) and he was selected as Tournament MVP. In 6 games he was 10/19, with 3 singles, 5 doubles, and 2 last inning-game tying triples, and 11 RBIs.
He's always played for a local travel team, and this was his first bigger event with a more regional team. We're super proud of how he stepped up when the competition improved
