Sandy--I think everyone voted and just went ahead and awarded Poteet the District crown and a pass to the Regional Finals. I know, but a couple of teams just didn't feel good about letting them get to Austin without at least one more game.

It rained and hailed in Terrell yesterday. Supposedly the game will be played tomorrow at Copeland Field (Poteet).

All three Denton high schools won on Tuesday. Sanger beat Bridgeport. Aubrey and Krum won. Argyle did not report.

Sandy, we got rained out. Supposed to play today , but I doubt it. Not scouting. Me and little beast just wanted to see a good baseball game. And it was a good one. We couldn't hear much from the announcer because of those d##n orange horns.

hey, I thought you were cleaning debris out of your pool, or is Sandy doing that?

Robert S., we couldn't hear much from you, but the most annoying announcer has got to be the guy at McKinney Boyd.

Boyd has more of a basketball feel, lots of drops and yelling, I try to keep it more old school. No drops, no screaming. I guess it is just what you prefer. The North mom's got mad at me for not announcing their full names, but their coach only gave me last names and there were a few I didn't know their first names, so I tried to keep it consistant so I just used what their coach gave me. One of their mom's came into the booth and gave me a roster.... she was not happy.
