Anyone else have a kid who's team is using this. Can't view it on a computer unless you have an account I guess. Can use a tablet or phone but is somewhat limiting. Makes it really difficult to post a vid of your kid. Had to cast it to the TV through Roku and record it with the phone. But since I know people here are waiting to see a video of some kid they don't know hit in a meaningless fall exhibition game I went the extra mile.

My kid refuses to share his hudl credentials with me!

IDK, not sure you're missing a whole lot. Not being able to view it on the PC sucks. On the tablet or phone it's harder to control the playback and fullscreen isn't really full screen.

That said it's better than nothing. The kid has changed almost everything about his swing since he left HS. Was hoping he'd get some AB's his freshman year but due to a rash of pitching injuries they ask him to PO. Summer ball didn't go as planned but he got enough AB's to see he needed to fix a couple things. Apparently he's done so because he's been tearing it up this fall.  So while Hudl isn't ideal it's the only way I've had to track his progress this fall. Now it's xing days off the calendar till February.

I am a little confused by your post. As a HS coach, we use hudl for both football and baseball. You can view video on a PC, laptop, tablet, or phone. However, you need to have login/password for all options. On PC, you can use browser, or download app using Microsoft store verviewtab" target="_blank">https://www.microsoft.com/en-u...ab=pivotverviewtab

Coaches and players can make some video public so that it can be viewed by anyone using browser. Don't think it happens as much with baseball but very popular for football players to have highlight videos that you can access by using name search.  Just use this link to search and you can look up teams and/or athletes:  https://www.hudl.com/explore

I downloaded the one from the store, the sign in my son gave me didn't work. It tells me I'm not a member of any teams. Actually using a phone or tablet would be OK if it would use the whole screen in fullscreen and not just making the clip slightly bigger.

If it is his login info which should be an email address and password then it has to work. I would double check with him and make sure you have the correct login. My son is in AZ and uses my login info to watch football film of our team (his old HS football team). There is no hudl login just for table/iphone. Again, it is generic and can be used on pc, laptop, tablet, phone, etc.

My son's coach uses it and will send my son links so that he can look at the video.  My son has shared the links with me.  Problem is, you can only watch it through their app/software.  And, I like to have the actual video.  I found the way around it is to use Mozilla and the download flash and video widget(?).  I look at the link with Mozilla and then I can download the video through Mozilla using the widget(?) icon in the upper right of the browser.
