At that age, he could probably handle Derek Johnson's The Complete Guide to Pitching.  For my money, the best pitching book to come out in the last 15 years.  If you want something a little less technical, maybe Dan Blewett's Pitching Isn't Complicated.  But, if you're just focused on the mental aspects, you can't go wrong with the Dorfman book mentioned above. 

Thanks for the suggestions, and keep them coming. For the record, Son #2 is very good to excellent at the mental part of pitching, and is working a lot in the weight room. I think he needs to pay a bit more attention to mechanics, to try and get the most out of his still growing body. It's not so much that he has to decide on a delivery, but just that I think he should expand his understanding of what goes into a throwing motion.
