Lamar covered their field, so it should be OK. They will throw their ace, Zach Sperry, in game 2. He would have thrown game 1 but he was not ready due to having to pitch on Saturday.

Lamar is a much different team at home. Of course, if Choate pitches like he did against FM last week, it may not matter. Lewisville is a very solid ballclub.
Choate is a SOLID ball player. There is not a position on the field he can't play. Personally, I think he'd be a top notch catcher if he wanted to stay back there. Quick feet and release. The ball does not get by him either. Great kid too!

Oh yeah, a member of the Marshal Nation ole

KD you may get your wish of a KHS vs. LHS showdown.

Lewisville Coach has been there for years and years and years. He got his 500'th win the other night.

I've watched Josh Choate grow up, I claim him as my "other son", and what a ballplayer he is.

L.A. is right, he can play any position on the field. Last year he was All District as a right fielder having only played a game or two of right field in his entire life before the HS Season.

And L.A., don't say that catcher word, last time I talked about Josh catching, his mom called me and gave me a talking to.

And last night was like old home week. Nick Lee and Garrett Buechelle from Lamar and Choate from Lewisville all played with my son for Lynn Vanlandingham last summer. Hard not to root for all the kids you know.
