I was at every one of the games of this series. In my opinion, this series was not as close as it appears.
If Colleyville was able to throw one of their big three in game one, this would have been a sweep...for the Panthers. Martin is a good team, but not as good as Colleyville and I think that was proven on the field.
Bottom line, our district was not that strong and has not been that strong for a while. No one from the Arlington district has won a playoff series since Arlington beat Keller in 2003. Martin themselves has not won a playoff series since 2002.
The power in the metroplex has shifted to the North. That is the way I see it.
