Had a varsity game yesterday. A player gets up to the plate and with his losing by 4 runs in the bottem of the 5th inning. He gets the count to 3 balls and no strikes and on the next pitch tries to bunt for a base hit????? Well on the next pitch he walks, now he is on first and steals 2nd base with both hands fully extended and holds on tight to the base. I'm the base umpire and I signal safe....he then proceeds to take both hands off the bag and makes a "T" signal to call time out.....the SS then tags him out! POOR KID!!!
