Yes that is right. It was an inspirational story about a guy with ALS who is part of the coaching staff of the football team. (My son plays on the team, and was visible in the video a few times.)

It has been a big year at our high school. We also have Kevin Love the #1 high school basketball player - he swept every award for #1 in the nation, the first to do that since Lebron.

Now there is a unique thought - mix talent with inteligence - you might just win a few do you think. Maybe if this works in baseball, football and basketball might give it a try - Nah!!!

Congratulations to Lake O. We are in the south part of the valley, and though my son isn't in high school until Sept., I can tell you that when my daughter's cross country team won that award, they were very proud. It's nice to see the kids appreciate the recognition of hard work both on and off the field. (or race course as the case may be)
