Not real sure if this is for the long haul, I doubt it, Memphis Redbirds needed some extra arms for some double headers coming up and a possible call up for a 40 man pitcher to STL. Just taking it day by day, he's had an opportunity to watch the triple A game for a few days and be a part of the team. He's on the travel roster to ABQ this weekend, so we'll just sit back and watch to see what happens.

Well, even if it isn't 'for the long haul' it is still a pretty impressive feat getting to the AAA level, even if it is only for a short time.

According to the latest, son will pitch one more game for Memphis and return to Springfield, the other player will fill in until the next double header and await until the starter returns from STL.
