Let's see if anyone else can come up with the ABC's of their fav team. Good job!
I was going to do a Cardinals ABC, but Bulldog beat me to it, so now I'm reduced to commenting on his.

Bulldog,
Nice work, but . . .
Don't you think B should go to Boyer or Brock?
Dizzy Dean or Ducky Medwick for D?
G has to be Gibson!
I listened to Harry Caray way back when Jack Buck was his sidekick, but he can't be the Cardinals' H because he got himself tainted with Cub loser germs, so how 'bout Hornsby in the H slot?
If you moved Stan the Man to M for Musial, you could include Enos Slaughter.

Go Cards!
Alston
Brewer, Buckner, Baker, Belcher
Campanella, Craig, Cey
Drysdale, Davis, Dodgers
Erskine, Ethier
Furillo, Ferguson, Fairly
Garvey, Gilliam, Guerrero, Gagne, Green, Gibson
Hershiser, Hodges, Howe, Howard, Hough, Hooton, Howe, Howell, Hatcher
Izturis
John, Johnson
Koufax, Kershaw, Karros
Lasorda, Lopes, Loney
Moon, Marshall, Martinez, Messersmith, Mota, Monday, Maldanado, Mondesi, Mattingly
Newcombe, Niedenfuer, Nomo
O'Malley, Osteen
Podres, Parker, Piazza
Questionable?
Robinson, Reese, Roseboro, Roe, Russell, Rhoden, Reuss
Scully, Snider, Sutton, Sax, Smith, Scioscia
Thomas, Trolley Dodgers
Uribe
Valenzuela, Vance
Wills, Wynn, Welch
"Xavier" Paul
Yeager
Zimmer

Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers: This was fun, and my list is probably too big? However, I know I missed some good ballplayers. I can't imagine trying to put a Yankees list together with only one name per alphabet without omitting some very good players, including many HOFers.

Swampboy,
B could be birds on the bat, you made some good suggestions, but he did a good job, now come up with X!

According to my Cardinals Encyclopedia, there has never been a Cardinal with a last name beginning with X. We may have to go with Grover AleXander, even though it's cheap to claim another team's Hall of Famer who just happened to play for our team near the end of his career. Maybe kmoX? Really reaching here.
