Adenhart verdict just came in...

My heart and prayers go out to Nick's family as well as the families of his friends that were with him that evening.

The hope is that a murder conviction and a life sentence is a message for at least one person to consider before getting into a car impaired by drugs or alcohol.

It's sad and pretty emotional for everyone involved. I agree with Baseballdad, hopefully this conviction will deter others from getting plastered and deciding to drive...especially when you already have a suspended license from prior DUI's!

When looking at addition, alcoholics and repeat DUI offenders I'd say it was a very positive decision Josh Hamilton made to pass on the Ranger's team celebration understanding the risk he can't even be near alcohol. It's a shame more alcoholics can't see who they are and work on improving their personal situations.
